I’m in love with The Raconteurs second CD, Consolers Of The Lonely.
Put Jack White (White Stripes) in a room with Cincy’s The Greenhornes, and you get some Godhead 70s indie rock. Jack and gang really deliver on this new disc. Each song will be a classic, much like with their debut release, Broken Boy Soldier.
Think White Stripes meets Montrose meets Zep. Yeah.
Check out track 8: Many Shades Of Black and you’ll see what I mean. This will likely make my year end list of rock’s top records of the year.
