I’ve waited about eight years to report this: A study at Harvard concludes that Nice Guys Actually Do Finish First.
Many of you met me via my first book, Love Is The Killer App, that argued that nice smart people succeed. They grow other people, and in turn, get positive feedback and help along the way in life and business. And getting help along the way is the key — and the reason that nice folk do better than their aggressive/dominant counterparts.
If I had a dollar for every person who’s said or written, “Being nice never works. People will see it as weakness and try and take advantage of you”, I’d have more money than Britney Spears.
