It’s been a few weeks since I’ve shared music tips with you.
I’ve had Cease To Begin, the new CD from Band Of Horses, in my disc changer for the last week. It is a wonderful record, filled with big vocals, great songs and organic rock and roll sounds.
Their music is a mix between Grandaddy, the Flaming Lips and My Morning Jacket. If you liked Wilco’s new record, Sky Blue Sky, you’ll love this one. They hail from South Carolina and proudly carry the torch of southern gothic alt-rock as popularized by REM in the 80s and 90s.
